Jerry Preece promoted to field weld specialist

Lexington, KY (July, 2011)—Jerry Preece has been promoted to field weld specialist. Troy Krumm, manager, field service, made the announcement at Link-Belt's headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.

Preece has been a welder and mechanic for over 20 years, 16 of which at Link-Belt. Having welded on most of the critical components made by Link-Belt, Preece has worked in the lattice bay, hydraulic boom bay, heavy weld, small weld, upper weld and a variety of special projects.

"Link-Belt requires some of the highest welding standards in the industry and Jerry surpasses them all," said Krumm. "He is among the best of the best at Link-Belt. That's why we have him in the field working on our customers' cranes."
